【摘要】:Thecombustiblecarboncontentofsolidresiduesisusedtocalculateefficiencyoffuelcombustioninboilerfurnacesandsimilarcombustors.Combustiblecarbonvaluesarealsousedtodeterminetheresidualfuelvalueofincompletelycombusted/reactedcoalandcokeinotherreactorsthatconsumecarbonaceousfuels(examplesincludefluidizedbedfurnacesandliquefaction,gasificationandpyrolysisreactors).Thecombustiblecarboncontentofflyashisanimportantparameterintheuseofflyashasacementadditive.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotal,combustible,andcarbonatecarbonremaininginthesolidbyproductsofcombustionfromboilerfurnacesandsimilarreactors,includingash,flyash,char,slag,andsimilarmaterials.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedfortheuseofindustrytodeterminetheperformanceofboilerfurnacesandsimilarcombustionreactorsandaidindeterminingthequalityofthesolidresiduefromcombustion.1.3Thistestmethodcomprisestheuseofanyofseveralmethodstodeterminetotalcarboncontentcombinedwithanyofseveralmethodstodeterminecarbonatecarbon,andthecalculation,bydifference,ofthecombustiblecarbonremaininginasample.1.4Alternatively,thistestmethodappliestothedeterminationoftotalcarbonremaininginamaterialafteracidificationwithstrongacidtoevolvecarbonatecarbon.Inthiscase,thecombustiblecarbonisthetotalcarbonmeasuredinthesampleafteracidification.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
